Surgical technology is an exciting career choice that places individuals on the front line in the critical care surgical environment. The Surgical Technology Program at NCCC is a rigorous endeavor that requires active engagement by the student. Graduates of the Surgical Technology program are awarded either a Surgical Technology Certificate or an Associates of Applied Science in Surgical Technology. The Associates Degree is preferred by most employers. Program courses are identified as “SURG”. The SURG courses are only offered at NCCC on the Ottawa campus.
