Effective May 6, 2013, NLNAC changed it's name to the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The ACEN re-accreditation visit held in February of 2018 and presented to the ACEN Board of Commissioners in September of 2018 resulted in the programs receiving continued accreditation on conditions of a Follow Up Report to be submitted in 2 years. Based on the Follow Up Report being accepted, the next re-accreditation visit will be scheduled for Spring 2026.
