Professional Development Fund

Neosho County Community College expects all employees to take the initiative in maintaining and continually reassessing skills and knowledge required for their assigned work. Full-time and part-time  employees who have been employed for one year may apply for up to $750 per year in professional development funds.

Part-time Tutors

Upward Bound Program

Neosho County Community College (NCCC) welcomes applicants for the position of Part-Time Tutor as part of the Upward Bound (UB) program. Tutors will be working with high school students at Chanute High School and Iola High School. We are seeking tutors who are knowledgeable and capable of positively explaining and teaching material in the areas of Math, Science, English, Social Studies, and Foreign Language (primarily Spanish).

Adjunct Instructor - CNA/CMA

Minimum qualifications: Hold a Kansas Registered Nurse License –Minimum of two years full-time licensed nursing (LPN or RN) include- RN in the state of Kansas 2 year’s clinical experience which includes one year in Long Term Care. include a master’s degree and at least 18 graduate hours in the field, with previous successful college level teaching in a classroom environment preferred.

Neosho County Community College welcomes applicants for the position of adjunct CNA/CMA for the Lawrence area two evenings a week for eight weeks in summer, fall and spring semester. Adjunct Instructor - CNA Neosho County Community College is accepting applications for Adjunct CNA Instructor – Garnett for the high school students that meets from 8:00a.m.-9:30a.m. Mon, Tues, Wed and Thursday. Must be an RN and have 2 years of experience working in long term care.

Talent Search Tutor

Hourly wage is between $9.00-$13.00 depending on previous experience and education.

School, Royster Middle School, Galesburg Middle School, Altoona-Midway Middle School and High School, St. Paul Middle School and High School. Knowledgeable of all core classes. The majority of meeting times with students would be before the high school day begins and after it ends, approximately 7:00-7:45 am & between 3:00– 5:00 pm.
