Library Assistant – Chapman Learning Center

Classification:  Full-time, 12-month Employee

Pay Status:  Hourly, Level III, Non Exempt

Starting Salary Range:  $12.50 - $13.00

This position is a member of the Chapman Learning Center team who reports to the Coordinator of Library Services.  Primary functions are helping students with their research needs, providing computer technical assistance, and assuming responsibility for administering the Library during specific hours.

This position is responsible for helping students access research materials, using computer applications, processing Library materials, and administering the Library during evening and/or weekend hours.

Construction Instructor

Nursing Instructor

Coordinates Activities with: Course Coordinator

Salary Range: Salary according to educational preparation and experience

Instructor in bi-level nursing program. Responsible to implement the course of study, teach theory content, and coordinate clinical and laboratory experiences with the cooperation of other faculty.

Master’s degree in Nursing required. Assignments based on clinical experience, certifications, or advanced licensure. Instructors shall hold at least a baccalaureate degree and shall show yearly academic progress toward meeting requirements for the Master's degree in nursing.

Simulation Clinician

Instructor in bi-level nursing program. Participate in the organization and implementation of simulation within the nursing program.

Responsible for implementation of simulation laboratory experiences with the cooperation of other faculty. 

Master’s Degree in Nursing required and shall participate in continuing education to further implementation of simulation lab. At least two years of recent nursing experience in a hospital or similar health care facility and/or recent nursing education experience preferred.

Tutors will be working with high school students at Chanute High School and Iola High School.
