To help students be successful in all academic areas, NCCC takes extraordinary measures to ensure student success.
The Chapman Learning Center (CLC) on the Chanute campus and the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) on the Ottawa campus offer many services, which include, but is not limited to, free individual and group tutoring, as well as live interactive tutoring online!
|How do I connect with a tutor?
At the beginning of each semester, tutoring schedules are posted and updated on myNeosho, where students can easily find the availability of tutors for a variety of subjects. Options include daytime and evening, as well as in-person and online. Online tutoring access is embedded digitally within the schedule. Students can request availability in addition to the hours/subjects listed via the tutoring coordinator at each respective campus.
Can I be a tutor?
Students who have completed a course with a grade of “A” or “B”, have a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and an instructor recommendation are eligible to apply to be a paid peer tutor. Interested students can inquire and apply within the learning center at their respective campus.
