![]() Dr. Brian Inbody Thank you for your interest in Neosho County Community College! At NCCC, it is our solemn goal to provide you with the education you need and the attention you deserve. This is more than just a motto. Our instructors are all degreed professionals with years of experience in their fields and years of experience in education. You won't find “graduate student teaching assistants” leading classes here. The faculty are constantly updating their knowledge and ensuring that the curriculum is in line with transfer institutions, so you will be fully prepared for junior and senior level classes no matter where you transfer to complete your bachelor’s degree. In fact, NCCC students that transfer to area four-year colleges have a higher average GPA than the resident students at those colleges! We are always looking for ways to improve the educational process. Every course and program at NCCC uses a system called Outcomes Assessment that is designed to ensure you have received everything you need from a class or program, then goes on to help the instructor make the class better each time is it taught. If you are looking to earn your Associates Degree and go straight to work, our faculty will help give you the education you need to be successful. We are in constant contact with business and industry leaders to insure that we are teaching the skills that will fully prepare you for a job you will love. It truly is the education you need! Just as important as the curriculum is the attention you receive as a student at NCCC. You are not a number at NCCC. Our instructors know your name and take pride in helping you achieve your educational goals. The faculty know how to get you in contact with services such as tutoring, scholarships, library services and more to help you reach your goals. As a student at NCCC, you are at the center of everything we do at the college. We know the sacrifices you are making to go to college and we know you have a choice of what institution to attend. That’s why NCCC believes in personal attention, individualized advising and responsiveness to stakeholders like you. It truly is the attention you deserve. I encourage you to explore this website and discover what NCCC can do for you. In the “students” section you can find our newly redesigned 2004-2006 college catalog which lists the programs and courses offered. On each of the program pages you will see the contact information for the faculty advisor responsible for each program. Please contact the program faculty or me at binbody@neosho.edu. Again, thank you for your interest in NCCC. Brian Inbody, Ed.D. Vice President for Student Learning Neosho County Community College |
