Participants in the Upward Bound Program at Neosho County Community College braved the rain on Sept. 15 to help local citizens in clean-up efforts at their flood damaged homes and property in the Chanute area. Students and staff assisted with the clean-up at the homes of Jim and Violet Earl and Charles and Mary Daugherty. Even though the students labored through less than ideal weather conditions, they worked hard and accomplished much. |
