We're excited to learn of your interest in attending NCCC! Here's what you'll need to do to get off to a great start!
1. Complete the NCCC Admission form. 2. Schedule a campus visit by calling our office (620.431.2820 ext. 233 for Chanute campus or 785.242.2067 for the Ottawa campus). 3. Apply for Financial Aid. To apply for financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA), which is available on-line at www.fafsa.gov, from your high school counselor, or in the NCCC Financial Aid Office. 4. Request an official copy of your high school transcript, along with your ACT or SAT scores to be sent to the NCCC Registration office. The transcript must include your graduation date. 5. Request official copies your transcript from all colleges you have previously attended. Don't forget about those college classes you took while in high school! 6. Enroll in classes. If you haven't taken the ACT or SAT, you will need to make arrangements to take the COMPASS placement test at NCCC on the day you come to enroll. Call the advising office (Chanute: 620.431.2820 ext. 280 or Ottawa: 785.242.2067) to schedule an advising/enrollment appointment. 7. If you plan to live in campus housing, complete a Housing Contract and pay a $50 non-refundable deposit. 8. Pay for your classes. Payment for fall classes is due by August 1. Payment for spring classes is due January 1. Payment plans are available. Contact the Business Office at 620.431.2820 ext. 514 for more information. 9. Pick up your textbooks at the Panther Bookstore on either campus. 10. Go to class! :)
