Tuition and Fees General Information
Tuition and fees are determined periodically by the College Board of Trustees. NCCC charges tuition and fees on a per credit hour basis. Fees are charged to maintain and enhance technology, physical facilities, scholarship opportunities, and student life. In addition, certain classes have special fees assessed to help defray the cost of materials and supplies. For a current list of tuition, fees, and special fees, see the class schedule or contact the college business office.

NOTE: Tuition and fees are subject to change without notice. [ Back to Top ]

Graduation Fee
A graduation fee of $40 will be charged to all sophomores who file an Intent to Graduate form. This fee will cover the cost of the cap and gown, diploma and cover, and other graduation costs. This fee is subject to change. [ Back to Top ]

Transcript Fee
Transcripts of work completed at NCCC are provided to other institutions of higher learning or any other entity of the student’s choosing. The student must make a written request to the registrar before the transcript can be issued. A $2 fee is charged for each official transcript. A $5 fee is charged for each faxed transcript. Transcript requests will not be processed until all financial obligations to the institution are met in full and all holds are cleared by the student. Please fax your requests to 620.431.0082 or call 620.431.2820 for more information.

Payment Information

Payment of tuition & fees is due by August 1 for Fall 2007 & by January 1 for Spring 2008. A payment plan is available for a $35 administration fee. The payment plan option allows for payment of only 1/3 of total owed for the semester at final enrollment, then 1/3 on the 1st of each month for the following two months.

Students should be prepared to pay tuition and fees by the first class period. NCCC accepts VISA, MasterCard, and Discover. No transcripts or other information will be released to students or other educational institutions until all financial obligations to this institution are met in full. NCCC also offers a convenient Installment Payment Plan. Students who wish to use this option are required to sign an agreement in the registrar’s office. There is a $35 user fee for students on the payment plan. The $35 fee covers the institutional costs of operating the payment service. The fall and spring payment plan allows the student to pay only 33% of all institutional costs (tuition, fees and/or residential housing) on or before the official enrollment day. The balance is due in equal payments on September 15th and October 15th for the fall semester; February 15th and March 15th for the spring semester. There is no payment plan for the summer.

BOOKS AND SUPPLIES
Books and supplies are sold by the College bookstore. Both new and used books are available. Full-time students should allow approximately $450 per semester for books and supplies but may spend more or less than this amount depending upon courses chosen and the difference between the cost of new and used books.

HOUSING
NCCC maintains two (2) residence halls. Bideau Hall was completed in 2000 and houses two-hundred (200) students. The NeoKan residence hall houses eighty (80) students. A $100  application fee is due upon signing a housing contract. Applications containing full information pertaining to room and board and associated costs are available in the student services office or on the NCCC web page. No college housing is available at Ottawa. [ Back to Top ]
