NCCC is an open admissions institution. The following applicants may be admitted:

Graduates of accredited high schools

bullet

Individuals who have completed the General Education Diploma (GED)

bullet

Any person who can benefit by a course or program of instruction, providing his/her high school class has graduated

bullet

High school juniors or seniors and gifted students may enroll with permission of the appropriate official at their high school.

bullet

Home-schooled students and those from non-accredited high schools are also admitted, provided they score a 20 or higher on the ACT, or an 850 or higher on the SAT

bullet

Individuals must have a GED or high school diploma to be eligible to graduate from NCCC.

 

Admissions Checklist

Apply for Admission

bullet

Send an official copy of your high school transcript to the Admissions Office

bullet

Send your ACT or SAT scores to the Admissions Office. (If you have not and do not plan to take the ACT, you can take a placement test at NCCC when you pre-enroll classes)

Schedule a campus visit to meet with faculty and staff, tour the campus, and learn about scholarship & financial aid opportunities

bullet

 Complete a housing contract

bullet

Send a final high school transcript (if you’re a recent high school graduate)

bullet

Send official transcripts from all previous colleges to the Admissions Office

bullet

Attend one of our Summer Pre-Enrollment Clinics to take placement tests & register for classes
