Computer Usage:
All Library computers have Internet access as well as Microsoft Office available for use by students and community members.   Students must have an ID and sign in for computer use and computers are shut down 15 minutes before closing.  Laptops with wireless Internet access are available for check-out within the Library with a student ID.  [ Back to Top ]

Internet Policy: View the Internet Policy Addendum to the Neosho County Community College Internet Usage Policy.   [ Back to Top ]

Internet Use and Minors: Students under age 18 must take an Internet Permission form for Minors home. A parent or legal guardian must fill it out, sign it, have the student sign it, and return it to the library. Students under 18 will not be able to access the Internet until there is a signed form on file in the library.  [ Back to Top ]

Reserves: Patrons with a library number may reserve items directly on the Library online catalog.  A last name and a current library card number are required to do this. Any reserved items must be picked up at the library within two days upon notification that the material is in, or the reserve will be taken off. [ Back to Top ]

Patron Status Online: Patrons may view the materials they have checked out, materials they have put on reserve, and any outstanding fines by clicking on the "patron status" button in the Library Catalog. The patron's last name and library number must be entered in order to access this information. [ Back to Top ]

Interlibrary Loan: If Chapman Library does not own the material you are looking for, it can be requested by the Library staff from other libraries throughout the state of Kansas via the Kansas Interlibrary loan system.  Please ask staff about this service.  [ Back to Top ]

Lost or Damaged Materials:  The patron is responsible for lost or damaged items.  The price of a replacement for the book or magazine, plus $10.00 processing fee for each item will be charged to the patron.  A hold will be placed on the patron's record, and transcripts will not be issued or the patron allowed to enroll until the items are paid for.
