Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

4/7/08

Those present at the meeting were Nora Strasser, Sarah Evans, Heather Click-Cuellar, Pam Collinge, Kim Ring, and Brian Black from Spirit Aerosystems.

Procedure for registration was discussed. Furniture arrangements were made. Board Members will be at the William Penn Science Building at Friends University by 4:00pm on Friday to set up and get ready for registration. Nora and Sarah will make signs to direct people around their building. Heather is making student name signs for the tables where students will set up, and name tags for the students.

Prizes for the winners were discussed.

Nora and Sarah conducted a tour of the facility.

Brian is preparing bags from Spirit for the participants. Spirit will be sending their photographer and videographer. Kim will prepare a press release form for the participants of the fair.

It was determined that we have plenty of judges and the judging forms were discussed for revisions. The judging process was reviewed. We will have a meeting with the judges before they begin talking to students Friday evening.

The awards ceremony and the reception were discussed and the order of events was set. Pam is working on the programs.
