Hello and Welcome to Neosho County Community College (NCCC), home of the
"Panthers"! We are a two-year institution offering Associate Degrees. We
can offer you a safe, hometown environment where your individual needs
and goals can be achieved. Our International population is small, but
growing. We currently have international students representing twelve
different countries and have had former international students who
transferred to Harvard, the Art Institute of Chicago, and other credible
four-year institutions.
Neosho County Community College has an enrolment of approximately 1800
students and holds classes according to the traditional semester system.
Our fall semester begins in August and our spring semester begins in
January. We have two four-week summer sessions held in June and July.

Admission Requirements
Before international students may be admitted, the following items must
be completed:
1. Complete the International Student Application Form.
2. Submit an original financial statement certifying the sources and
amounts of funding available, including the amount in US dollars. You
must show a minimum of $10,000 (US Dollars). All
bank statements, affidavits of support, etc. must have been issued
within six (6) months of the time the student applies for admission.
International students must show proof of funds on deposit for the total
cost of two (2) semesters of study at NCCC.
3. Submit original copies of all academic credentials (secondary school
records, diplomas, and any previous college or trade school
transcripts). Official notarized translated copies must be sent for all
non-English credentials. To be official, each copy must bear the
original stamp or seal and a signature of a school officer or other
authorized official attesting that it is a true copy of the original
document. The name of the institution where a student is currently
enrolled must also be included along with that transcript. Records from
US or Canadian schools must be official copies sent directly from the
registrar’s office to the office of international services at NCCC.
4. Submit a non-refundable application/processing fee of $35 (must be in
US dollars) required to process the students application must be
received before admission is granted
5. Submit an official TOEFL score of at least 125 (CBT) from all
non-native English-speaking students. For more information, go to
http://www.toefl.org/. All students will still be required to take the
NCCC placement test, to verify his/her English and math proficiency.
