Fund A Need

Fund-A-Need is a special fundraising program that calls for direct donations for a VERY important need at NCCC. Our Fund-A-Need

focus for 2007 will be for funding a “Cyber-Café” in the Student Union.

Why do we need to create this Cyber-Café?”

¨ The Cyber-Café is part of the of a plan to revitalize the student union for our new generation of students.

¨ Students have asked for greater open computer room access.

¨ Students need weekend computer room access.

¨ Students desire a less “formal” place to work/surf/email other than the library.

¨ NCCC wishes to draw more students to the union.

Breakdown of the costs:

6 computers @ $1,100 each................................ $6,600

6 desks and chairs @ $600 each.......................... $3,600

1 ADA desk @ $1500 each.................................. $1,500

1 gigabit switch @ $2500 each............................ $2,500

1 security camera @ $700 each.............................. $700

1 printer @ $600................................................. $600
