Eric Johnson

Coach Johnson was a Multi-sport standout at Norton Community High School, in the sport of wrestling he was a four-time state finalist, winning two titles, and had an impressive 116-12 career record with 327 takedowns. Also an All-League pick in football and a three-year track letterman.

Following high school Coach Johnson went on to wrestle 3 years at University of Central Oklahoma before transferring his senior year to Fort Hays State University.  Coach Johnson earned his bachelors degree from FHSU and then went on to help coach at Thomas More-Prep High school following his collegiate career.
 

Coach Johnson's father (Billy) was the first-ever four-time All-American at Fort Hays State from 1985-89 and coincidentally was coached by Neosho head Coach Wayne Petterson.
