Coaching Career:

     Coach Herron enters her second season as head volleyball coach at Neosho County Community College posting a 22-16 record last season. Herron comes to Neosho County from Pittsburg State University where she served as the Graduate Assistant. The two years prior to that, Herron was the assistant coach here at Neosho County, where she helped lead the Lady Panthers to a 53-22 record .While at Neosho, Herron also coached 9 All-District players, 12 All-Conference players and 1 All-American. Herron’s other coaching experience includes eight years of USA volleyball, at several clubs including Club Fusion, Star Aquila, SEK Force, and Chanute Juniors and working as a trainer for various summer camps for the past three summers. Herron earned her associate of science degree from Neosho County in 2003, where she played volleyball and basketball.  Herron continued her volleyball playing career at William Penn University where she holds several records and was named eight time conference Libero of the Week, as well as, three time national NAIA Libero of the Week. Herron received her Bachelor’s of Science in Sports Administration in 2005. She is the daughter of Randy and Doris Herron of Chanute, Kansas. Herron has two brothers, Devon (28) and Rick (36).
