Randy is one of the finest products to come out of the powerful
Eisenhower High School in Houston, Texas. Randy was part of a team
that dominated the state of Texas in 2006. Randy was key in their
pursuit of records, running a 10.44-100m, and running the first leg on a
4x100m team that ran the #3 fastest time in United States High School
History. That 4x100m team was the best relay team in the country
that year.
As a freshman for Neosho, Randy set school records in the 55m, 60m,
100m, and 200m races. He was the first sprinter for Neosho to
crack the top 5 in the 60m at Nationals, placing 4th. During
outdoor season, Randy really showed what he could do, blazing to a 4th
place finish in the 100 meters at Nationals with a 10.41. With a
great desire and tremendous potential, Randy will be a key figure as to
how far the Neosho Men will go this year. On top of being a great
open-event runner, he is crucial to the 4x100m relay. Coach Havron
on Randy Johnson in the 4x100: "Randy runs the best opening leg I
have ever seen in a 4x100m race"
Randy's personal best includes: 55m-6.40 100m-10.41 200m-21.30
Randy is also the proud parent of his two-year old daughter Ireanna.
Randy Johnson is the Captain of the Neosho County Men's Track and Field
