Lady Panthers Finish 4th at Region Tournament Neosho played 4 games this past weekend, winning two and losing two. The Panthers played Garden City in game 1 and lost 4-9. Freshman Amilee Gross hit a 3-run homerun and a double and sophomore Taylor Ryal scored 2 of the runs.

In game 2, Neosho played Cloud winning 12-2 (in 5). Sophomore Katie Storm and Amber Haus each had 2 singles and 2 RBI's, Sophomore Taylor Ryal had 2 doubles and 2 RBI's, Freshmen Annie Herron had a double and Krystal Sherman had a single and each had an RBI.

In game 3, Neosho played Colby winning 10-7. Sophomore Jenny Joyal hit a walk-off 3-run homerun in the 7th inning to win the game. Sophomores Taylor Ryal was 3 for 4 and Niki Boyles was 2 for 4 and Freshman Krystal Sherman had a double with 3 RBI's.

In game 4, Neosho played Barton losing 8-18 (in 5). Freshmen Steph Lonsdale hit a double and a single and had 4 RBI's and Annie Herron was 2 for 4 and Sophomore Jenny Joyal was 2 for 3.

The Lady Panthers finished their season 15-35 and will miss their 7 graduating sophomores.

Johnson County gets 2 from Neosho The Lady Panthers lost both games 4-6 and 1-9 on Tuesday at Overland Park. For the first game, Sophomore Lacy Wilson hat a double with 2 RBI's and Sophomore Taylor Ryal was 2 for 4 with an RBI. In the second game Taylor Ryal hit a double and scored the only run of the game, Sophomore Amber Haus had the RBI. The Lady Panthers will travel to Wichita, KS tomorrow to play Garden City at 3pm on Field 4. The tournament is at the Two Rivers Sports Complex located at 1700 N. Ridge Rd.

Neosho had tough road games The Lady Panthers played Garden City on Friday losing 5-6 (in 9) and 0-11 (in 5). Sophomore Amber Haus had a 2-run homerun and Niki Boyles scored 2 out of the 5 times she was up to bat in the first game. On Saturday, Neosho played Seward and lost both games 0-8 (in 5) and 4-23 (in 5). Sophomore Lacy Wilson hit a 2-run homerun in the second game.  The Lady Panthers played Seward again on Sunday losing 4-14 (in 5) and 6-14 (in 5). Sophomore Taylor Ryal hit a 2-run homerun, Freshman Annie Herron and Sophomore Amber Haus each had an RBI in the first game. In the second game Freshman Krystal Sherman was 2 for 3 with an RBI, Freshman Stephanie Lonsdale had a double with 2 RBI's, Freshmen Annie Herron and Amilee Gross each had a double with an RBI and Sophomore Taylor Ryal also had a RBI. Neosho will travel to Overland Park on Tuesday, April 29th to play Johnson County at 3pm and 5pm.

Johnson County Game Suspended in 5th Neosho traveled to Overland Park to played to the 5th inning, but the game was suspended due to rain. It has been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 29th at 3pm and 5pm. The Lady Panthers are traveling and playing Garden City on Friday at 3pm and 5pm. On Saturday and Sunday, Seward will host both region games due to a cancelled game last week in Chanute. Game times are at 1pm and 3pm both days.

Neosho Split with KCKCC The Lady Panthers lost the first game 2-4 and won the second game 8-7 in 8 innings. Sophomore Niki Boyles had 2 homeruns on the day and was 3-5 in the second game. In the second game Neosho came from behind to win the game. The Lady Panthers scored 4 runs in the 4th, 3 in 6th and 1 in the 8th. Freshman Krystal Sherman earned the winning RBI scoring Niki Boyles on an error by the shortstop. Freshman Annie Herron and Sophomore Taylor Ryal both went 2-4. Neosho will travel to play Johnson County tomorrow, April 23rd at 2pm and 4pm.

Lady Panthers Sweep Cloud The Panthers beat Cloud at home 21-0 (in 5) and 6-5. Neosho had 5 homeruns in the first game. Sophomore Taylor Ryal had 2 and Freshmen Amilee Gross, Krystal Sherman, and Steph Lonsdale each had 1. Krystal Sherman went 4 for 4 and Taylor Ryal was 3 for 5. In the second game, Steph Lonsdale had 2 doubles and 2 RBI's and Amber Haus had 2 RBI's. Neosho will host KCKCC tomorrow, April 22nd at 2pm and 4pm.

Neosho Split with Coffeyville The Panthers won the first game 10-1 and lost the second game 5-9. Freshmen Amilee Gross, Krystal Sherman and Amber Haus reached base all 3 times they were up to bat, Amber Haus also had 5 RBI's.  Sophomores Niki Boyles and Taylor Ryal both hit homeruns in the second game.

Game Cancelled Today's games against Seward are cancelled.

Game Rescheduled Today's games against Johnson County have been rescheduled to Wednesday, April 23rd at 2pm and 4pm. The Panthers host Seward tomorrow, April 18th at 2pm and 4pm.

Game Rescheduled Today's games against Coffeyville have been rescheduled to Sunday, April 20th at 3pm and 5pm.

Butler Get Two The Lady Panthers lose 2 games to Butler, 0-10 (in 5) and 1-14 (in 5). Sophomore Niki Boyles hit a homerun in the second game. Neosho travels to play Coffeyville on Tuesday, April 15th at 4pm and 6pm.

Panthers Lose 2 on the Road Neosho traveled to take on Cowley and lost both games, 0-8 (in 5) and 2-8. Next game will be tomorrow, April 12th at home against Butler at 2pm and 4pm. Sunday's game against Cloud has been rescheduled to Monday, April 21st.

Butler Game Cancelled The Lady Panthers will not play Butler today, April 10th due to rain. It has been rescheduled to Saturday, April 12th at 2pm and 4pm.

Schedule Changes The Panthers will not be traveling to play in the Hall of Fame tournament due to rain and rescheduling conference and region games. The Lady Panthers will host Butler on Thursday, April 10th at 2pm & 4pm. Neosho will travel to Arkansas City to play Cowley on Friday, April 11th at 3pm & 5pm. Cloud will travel to Chanute on Sunday, April 13th, game times at 2pm & 4pm.

Game Cancelled against Cowley Today's game against Cowley has been cancelled due to rain. The game has been rescheduled to Friday, April 11th at 3pm & 5pm.

Panthers Lose 2 at Home The Lady Panthers played Colby and lost both games 0-12 (in 5) and 6-12. Freshman Amilee Gross was 2 for 2 in the first game and hit a 2-run homerun in the second game. The Panthers will travel tomorrow to play Cowley, April 8th at 3pm & 5pm.

Lady Panthers Lose 2 on the Road Traveled to Parsons to take on Labette and lost both games 2-11 (in 5) and 5-6. In the second game freshman Annie Herron started the 7th inning with a lead-off homerun, but the Panthers ended up short. Sophomore Taylor Ryal was 5-6 on the day.

Panthers Go 3-3 on the Weekend On Friday, Neosho swept Cloud 4-1 and 4-2. In game 2, sophomore Lacy Wilson scored the winning runs in the 7th with a triple and 2 RBI's, Sophomore Taylor Ryal also had 2 doubles. On Saturday, played Barton and lost both games 9-14 and 0-10 (in 5). Sophomore Taylor Ryal had 2 doubles again.  And on Sunday finished up with a split with Colby 1-4 and 12-11. Sophomore Niki Boyles and Lacy Wilson both hit homeruns.

Traveling Weekend The Lady Panthers will travel to Concordia, KS to play Colby on Friday, March 28th at 3pm & 5pm, located at 2221 Campus Drive. We will be staying at the Super 8, (785)-243-4200, 1320 Lincoln St, Concordia, KS. On Saturday, traveling to Great Bend, KS to play Barton at 1pm & 3pm, located at 3500 10th St. We will be staying at the Comfort Inn, (785)-462-3833, 2225 S. Range Ave, Colby, KS. Sunday, playing Colby at 1pm & 3pm, located at 1255 S. Range Ave.

Panthers Sweep the Pirates The Neosho Panthers beat Independence at home 2-0 and 11-2. Taylor Ryal, Lacy Wilson and Katie Storm each had 1 homerun on the day. The Panthers will travel on Friday to Concordia to take on Cloud at 3pm & 5pm.

Panthers lose Two to Butler The Panthers traveled to El Dorado, KS and lost 0-12 and 4-14.

Red Devils Sweep Lady Panthers The Lady Panthers traveled to Iola, KS to take on Allen County. Allen County beat the Panthers 1-5 and 3-8. Sophomore Taylor Ryal hit a solo homerun in game 1. Next home event is Friday, March 14th at 2pm & 4pm

Broken Arrow Tournament The Lady Panthers will travel to Broken Arrow, Ok March 14th-16th. We will be playing at Arrowhead Park, located at 300 E Washington St, Broken Arrow, OK. We play on Saturday at 10:30am, 12pm, and 4:30pm. We will be staying at the Clarion Hotel, 918-258-7085.

Panthers Split with Highland The Panthers won the first game 9-7 with a game-winning 2-run homerun by freshman Krystal Sherman in the 7th inning. Sophomore Katie Storm had a great performance with a grand slam in the first inning and 11 strikeouts on the mound. Highland took the second game 3-2, scoring 2 runs in the seventh inning to take the lead and the victory. Sophomore Taylor Ryal hit two homeruns and Freshman Steph Lonsdale hit one homerun on the day. The Panthers take on Allen County on Tuesday, March 11th at Iola, KS at 2pm & 4pm.

Lady Panthers Sign 6 Congratulations to Jessica Martin from Mission Valley High School, Adrianna Ballor from Smithville High School, Monique Skidmore from Southwest High School, Brooke Drake from Osawatomie High School, Christiana Taylor from Parsons High School and April Roye from Wilburton High School on becoming new members of the Panther Softball program.

The Cowtown Classic has been cancelled due to the weather. Our home opener is March 1st against Fort Scott at 2pm.

Cowtown Classic We will be traveling to Fort Worth, Tx Feb. 14th-16th  to play in the Cowtown Classic Softball Tournament. We will be playing at Gateway Park, located at 745 N. Beach Street, Fort Worth, TX. Our first game will be Thursday night at 7pm, followed by noon, 2pm and 6pm on Friday. We will be staying at Ambassador Hotel and Suites, 817-535-2591.

Sophomores Move On Casey Brady will continuing her playing career at Oklahoma Christian University. Kari Dillon will be attending Newman University while playing softball. Jenny Robb will be a rower at Kansas University. Elysse Gutierrez will continue at Pittsburg State University. Tina Newton will be a Student Assistant at Washburn University.

Neosho Sweeps Fort Scott Kari Dillon had a homerun as the Panthers beat Ft. Scott 6-1 and 6-2 on Monday, 4/23. Amanda Maike had a double and 3 RBI's for the day.

NC gets split with #11 Seward The Panthers took the first game of a double header with Seward on Saturday 4/21, 3-2. Elysse Gutierrez led the offense going 3-3 in the first game. Casey Brady was 3-5 with a homerun on the day. Seward came back and one the second game 9-3.

Panthers Continue Roll The Lady Panthers continued their winning streak by sweeping KCK 16-5 and 8-3 on Friday 4/20. Bailey Williams lead the offensive charge by going 5-7 with a double and homerun. Tina Newton was 4-5 with a double and Taylor Ryal was also 5-7 with a homerun. Casey Brady (2) and Kari Dillon also hit homeruns.

Panthers Sweep Cloud The Panthers swept cloud 9-1 and 9-4. Sophomore Tina Newton was 3-5 and Freshman Amanda Maike was 2-2 on the day. Taylor Ryal, Casey Brady, and Kari Dillon all had homeruns on the day. Ryal had two.

Boyles Homers Freshman Niki Boyles had a homerun but it was not enough to lift the Panthers past 19th ranked Butler. They lost 0-8, 1-9.

Cowley too Tough Cowley defeated the lady panthers in two close games. The Lady Panthers lost 2-5 the first game with sophomore Jenny Robb going 2-3 and freshman Taylor Ryal hitting a homerun. In the second game sophomore Elysse Gutierrez was 3-4 with two doubles. Freshman Rachel Ehrhart had a homerun in the 4-6 loss.

Panthers Win Two At Indy The Panthers traveled to Independence on Thursday, April 5 and won 14-3 in the snow. Freshman Niki Boyles was 3-3 on the game. Freshman Taylor Ryal went 2-3 with a homerun and Sophomore Casey Brady had a grand slam on the day. The second game was postponed until Monday, April 9th. Sophomore Jenny Robb led the way going 4-4 with two doubles in the 9-4 win. Ryal was 3-4 and sophomore Tina Newton was 2-3 with a homerun.

Panthers Lose Two to Butler Wednesday, April 4th, the Panthers traveled to Butler CC and lost the first game 0-8 and the second game 3-12.

Labette Takes Two from Panthers On Tuesday, April 3, The Lady Panthers lost to Labette 1-2 in the first game and 1-5 in the night cap.

NC Goes 3-3 in Broken Arrow Saturday, March 17, the Lady Panthers traveled to the Broken Arrow Tournament where they won 3 games during Saturday's pool play. They beat Northern OK 4-1, Barton CC 8-4, and Southwestern Iowa CC 7-1. After placing first in their pool on Saturday, they were placed with the three other top teams in another pool for Sunday. The Panthers suffered losses to Cowley 0-6, NEO 0-11. They also lost a close one during international tie breaker to Coffeyville 2-3. The Panthers are currently 9-15.

Panthers Drop Two to Barton The Lady Panthers lost the first game 6-9 and the second game 3-5 to Barton Community College on Friday, March 16th. Freshman Katie Storm lead the offense going 2-3 on the day. Bailey Williams also pitched well.

Panthers Take Two More Tough Losses  The Panthers traveled to Highland on Tuesday, March 13th to take on Highland CC. Highland took the first game 3-1. Kari Dillon had a solo homerun for the Panthers. In the second game, NCCC jumped out with a 4 run lead in the first inning with Jenny Robb and Taylor Ryal each hitting two-run shots. They had a 6-2 lead heading into the sixth inning and could not hang on. Highland came back to win it 7-6.

Ehrhart, Brady, Ryal Homer Sophomore Casey Brady and Freshmen Rachel Ehrhart and Taylor Ryal hit homeruns on Friday, but it wasn't enough to lift the Panthers over the Colby Trojans. Sophomore Jenny Robb also had 3 doubles on the day. 

Neosho Earns Split Iowa Western proved to be a good challenge for the Panthers. IW took the first game 12-3. Freshman Taylor Ryal had two homeruns with 3 RBI during the contest. The Panthers came back in the second game to win 2-1. Sophomore Elysse Gutierrez hit well in  both games.

Panthers Lose Two to Crowder  The Lady Panthers traveled to Neosho, MO and lost to Crowder 0-8 and 2-7.

Panthers Split with Garden City    The Lady Panthers faced off against Garden City on Sunday. The first game resulted in a 9-3 lost. The Panthers took the second game, in the bottom of the seventh when Taylor Ryal hit a 3 run shot to win the game 6-5. Casey Brady had two homeruns on the day. Bailey Williams also had a stellar performance on the mound. They will be back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Kansas City to face KCK.

Seminole State Too Tough The Lady Panthers lost to 15th ranked Seminole on Thursday. They were able to hang with the Trojans through both games until the end. The Seminole offense was just too much. Freshman Katie Storm pitched well for the Panthers.

Lady Panthers Down Allen County                           The Lady Panthers defeated Allen County 7-3 and 15-3 on Tuesday. Every person contributed to the offensive effort, led by Bailey Williams who had a homerun. Kari Dillon and Williams were the winning pitchers.                        

Panthers Start Season off with Sweep over Ft. Scott     The Lady Panthers started off the 07 campaign with two wins over the visiting Ft. Scott Lady Hounds. The first game was a 10-0 run rule decision. Followed by a 7-2 win in the night cap. The Panthers were led by Sophomore Jenny Robb who went 4 for 6 on the day with two doubles and 5 RBI's. Freshmen Niki Boyles and Taylor Ryal also helped lead the team both going 4 for 6 on the day. Kari Dillon and Bailey Williams were the winning pitchers on the day.
