Annie Herron Becomes Academic All-American Sophomore Annie Herron was honored as an Academic All-American. Annie was our starting Catcher and did great job for the Lady Panthers. She will continue her education at Pittsburg State University.

Adrianna Ballor Received Year-End Award Freshman Pitcher Adrianna Ballor received All-Conference Honorable Mention.

Lady Panthers Season Ends The Lady Panthers played Hutchinson for Sub-Regionals. The Lady Panthers fought hard, but came up short losing both games 6-7 and 0-6. The sophomores who ended their careers at Neosho County are: Annie Herron, Amilee Gross, Samantha Fowler, and Stephanie Lonsdale. Sophomores, you will be missed very much.

Neosho plays Hutchinson in Region VI Playoffs The Lady Panthers finished their season 14-16 in region after beating Independence. Neosho (seeded #9) plays Hutchinson (seeded #8) on Saturday, April 25th at Hutchinson, KS at 2 & 4pm. It will be a best 2 out of 3 games. If game 3 is needed, it will be on Sunday, April 26th at Hutchinson. If the Lady Panthers win they will go on to continue Region play in Wichita, KS on May 2nd & 3rd.

Neosho Won 2 on the Road Neosho played Independence and won both games 10-0 (in 5) and 5-1.

Lady Panthers Sweep Dodge City The Lady Panthers won both games against Dodge City 4-0 and 2-1.

Neosho Lose 2 @ Home Neosho played Pratt and lost both games 0-1 and 3-7. In the first game, Pratt hit a solo HR that lead to the only run of the game. In the second game, Freshman Ashley Covington hit a 2-run homerun in the 5th inning. Freshman Darci McLaren hit a double in the 7th inning and scored Neosho's last run of the game.

Lady Panthers Go 1-4 In the Broken Arrow, Neosho beat East Central 10-9 (in 8) and lost to Connors State 3-10, St. Charles 4-6 (in 8), Muscatine 1-13 (in 5) and Southwestern Illinois 5-9. In the win against East Central, Sophomore Samantha Fowler was 3 for 4 with 3 runs scored. In the 7th inning, Freshmen Shaneese Wedmand and April Roye both hit in RBI's to put the game into an extra inning. Sophomore Annie Herron scored in the bottom of the 8th inning to tie the game from Sophomore Amilee Gross's double. Amilee Gross scored the winning run after Freshman Adrianna Ballor put the ball into play. During this game, Sophomore Stephanie Lonsdale was injured on a play at home plate. Stephanie Lonsdale has to end her career at Neosho early due to a broken foot. She will be greatly missed on the softball field.

Go 1-1 The Lady Panthers win their first game of the spring season against St. Charles 6-4. Freshman Ashley Covington was 2 for 4 with a triple and single and 2 runs scored, Freshman Adrianna Ballor was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI, Sophomore Amilee Gross was 1 for 4 with a homerun, Brooke Drake was 1 for 4 with a stolen base and run scored. The first run of the game came in the 3rd inning when Freshman April Roye getting hit by a pitch, Freshman Jessica Martin came in to run and scored on a sacrifice by Sophomore Amilee Gross. The second game was heart-breaking loss to Jefferson College 2-3 (in 8 innings). Freshman Adrianna Ballor was 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles, Sophomore Amilee Gross was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a stolen base, Sophomore Stephanie Lonsdale was 1 for 4 with an RBI, Freshman Ashley Covington was 1 for 4 as well with an triple, and Freshman Shaneese Wedman was 1 for 2 with a walk and single. Spring Begins The Lady Panthers will be traveling to Seminole to play the Trojans on Tuesday, Jan. 24th. Games start at 2pm & 4pm.

This Weekend The Lady Panthers are traveling to Bolivar, MO to play Southwest Baptist University at 4pm on Friday, Sept. 26th. On Saturday, they will play at the Evangel Tournament at 12:15, 1:45, and 4:30pm.
