Assistant Coach Cole Gordon

Coaching Career: Cole Gordon is in his second year as an assistant coach for the Panthers. Gordon serves as the hitting coach and recruiting coordinator, along with serving as the third base coach. Gordon began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at the University of Arkansas in 2007. During the summer of 2008 Gordon coached the Thunder Bay Border Cats of the Northwoods Collegiate Summer League helping them to the 2008 Championship. Gordon also serves an associate scout for the Minnesota Twins covering Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri.

 

 

Playing Career: Gordon began his playing career at Oklahoma City University in 2004 where the Stars compiled a 73-7 record and were the runner-up in the NAIA college world series. Gordon transferred to Mississippi Valley State University to finish his career. Gordon was a member of Mississippi Valley State University's team that won back-to-back Southwestern Athletic Conference Eastern Division Titles in 2005 and 2006.
