Coaching Career: John enters his second
year as a Panther coach after spending three years at Pitt State, and will work with hitters, and defense along
with recruiting and field duties. As a hitting coach at Pitt State, Hill
helped the Gorillas earn a pair of NCAA Division II national rankings in
2005. They were 5th in batting average at .355 and a slugging pct. of
.540. He also helped them set new fielding percentage records in 2005
and 2006. Hill also serves as the head coach of the Nevada Griffons in
the Jayhawk League in the summers. He guided the Griffons to a 9th place
finish in the 2005 & 2006 NBC World Series. |
