Tomomi Kamijo is in her second year at Neosho County Community College.
Prior to NCCC, she resided in Logan, Utah where she attended Utah State University and completed her
Masters Degree in Corporate Wellness in May 2008. During her time
at Utah State University, she worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic
Trainer for the Aggies. Football and track and field were her
primary sport responsibilities. She also worked numerous hours
with the women's basketball, softball, gymnastics, and volleyball teams.
She lists softball and track and field as her favorite sports to cover.
Tomomi received her Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training from
Southern Utah University in Cedar City, UT. While there, she
served as the head Athletic Training Student for women's soccer and
softball. She also had hands-on experience with football, women's
soccer, men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, track and
field, cross country, tennis and gymnastics.
Miss Kamijo has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers'
Association since 2008, is First Aid and CPR certified and is fluent in
Japanese and English. Tomomi is the daughter of Toshimichi and
Ginko Kamijo of Nagano, Japan. She has one sister, Makota (Nagano,
Japan) and one brother, Yusuke (Tokyo, Japan). Tomomi resides in
Chanute, KS.
