Adult Education Campuses
Adult Education helps adults get the basic skills they need to be productive workers, family members, and citizens. Our programs emphasize skills such as reading, writing, science, social studies, mathematics, computer basics, and workplace skills. We offer courses at the following locations:
NCCC Chanute Campus
NCCC Ottawa Campus
Independence Community College Campus
Fort Scott Community College Campus
Labette Community College Campus
Coffeyville Community College Campus
Neosho County Community College (NCCC) in cooperation with Independence Community College (ICC) and Mercy Hospital offers the individual an opportunity to complete a plan of study to become an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) at Independence, KS. Following completion of the first level of the NCCC nursing program, these students may continue on to become an RN (ADN, Associate Degree Nurse) by joining students at the Chanute or Hybrid online campuses.
Lawrence (Allied Health)
Since 2007 Neosho County Community College has hosted Allied Health courses at the Art Executive Building in Lawrence as well as one course directly on the KU campus.
