What is Educational Talent Search?
Educational Talent Search (ETS) is a federally funded TRIO program. Through early intervention and with the services provided, ETS encourages students to remain in school, graduate from high school, and pursue post-secondary education (college or vocational/technical school).
ETS serves students in middle school and high school, and also students with a desire to return to school. All services are FREE and provided by trained professional staff.
Who is Eligible?
If you are:
at least 11 years old and have completed fifth grade
a middle school student
a high school student
an adult interested in receiving a GED or going back to college
a potential first generation student (neither parent has a bachelor's degree)
a veteran
How do I apply?
To participate in the Educational Talent Search program, you and your parent(s) or guardian need to complete application materials. Adults may complete their own application. The ETS staff will review the application then notify you. To obtain the application click the link in the links menu or contact the offices listed below or your school counselor.
Applications will be selected for program participation in compliance with the provisions of Section 427 of the U.S. Department of Education's General Education Provisions Act. (GEPA). Accordingly, access and participation will not be denied to applicants based on gender, race, national origin, color, or disability.
