Immunization Providers: Students may utilize services of the provider of their choice. Two possible options are listed below:
Panacea Care is conveniently located on the Chanute Campus in the Student Union next to the bookstore.
Hours: 8:00 am - 9:00 am on Wednesday and Thursdays
Students are advised to contact the main location, indicate that they are a nursing student, provide insurance information and then make arrangements to be seen either at the clinic or at the main location.

Students that are self-pay, on Medicaid, Unicare, or Children's Mercy H.P., may contact the health department to schedule services.
CPR classes must be American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider), therefore, you must take a live class. An online course is not acceptable. It is best to take your CPR class in the summer for Chanute and Independence students and in December or in January, before nursing classes start for Ottawa students. Then it is good for the full 2 years of the program.
Consider enrollment at NCCC in ALHE 141 Basic Life Support for the Professional Rescuer.

Insurance Providers
Students are required to maintain a portfolio (copies) of records including immunizations to meet their personal, academic and employment needs.
