Allison Ouellette - Director of Residence and Student Life

My name is Allison Ouellette and I am the Director of Residence and Student Life at NCCC. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Kansas. I spent much of my time at KU working for the Department of Student Housing and AURH (Association of University Residence Halls) where I discovered my passion for campus housing and student development. I have been at NCCC since August 2011 and have enjoyed getting to know the students and being a support to them during their first years of college. My husband, Andrew, is a Biology Instructor at NCCC and we have two children. Our family enjoys travelling, bike rides, and milkshakes from Cardinal Drug.



Kaleigh Richardson - Assistant Director of Residence and Student Life

My name is Kaleigh Richardson and I’m the Assistant Director of Residence and Student Life at NCCC. I started working here in July of 2013, shortly after I graduated from Taylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Before transferring to Taylor I received my Associate of Arts from Cowley County Community College. During my time at TU I lived on campus and held a leadership position in Res Life my senior year, which opened my eyes to how much I love living and working in campus housing. I enjoy reading, travelling, all things Disney, and chocolate milkshakes from Cardinal Drug.



Caitlin Lay - Assistant Director of Residence and Student Life

My name is Caitlin Lay and I am the Coordinator of Residence and Student Life.  I graduated from NCCC in 2014.  During my time at NCCC, i held various leadership roles: I was a Freshman Senator, Student Senate President, an RA, and a member of many other clubs on campus.  I currently attend Pittsburg State University and will graduate in May with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education.  I love to read, watch movies, and also enjoy chocolate milkshakes with Kaleigh and Allison.


Chistian Smith - Resident Assistant

Hello, my name is Christian Smith. I am from Parsons, Kansas, and I graduated from Labette County High School. I am a sophomore at NCCC, and I am a yell leader on our Cheer team. I plan on graduating from NCCC and moving on to Pittsburg State University to major in Biology Secondary Education. One thing about me is that I love movies and quote them daily.


Doug Wells -  Resident Assistant

Hey guys, my name is Doug Wells.  I’m a sophomore from Neodesha, Kansas, about thirty minutes from Chanute.  I plan on getting my Associates Degree in Biology and transferring to Pitt State to major in Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy. My favorite hobbies are basically anything that involves a sport and hanging out with friends.


Hanna Meiring - Resident Assistant

Hey there! My name is Hanna Meiring, and I am a sophomore here at Neosho. I am from Spring Hill, Kansas. I plan on majoring in dental hygiene. I am also a part of the Women’s Soccer team, so come out and support us!



Kelsey Lawless - Resident Assistant

My name is Kelsey Lawless, and I am a sophomore here at Neosho County. I love to watch mystery/crime stories on TV, and I am a huge fan of Disney movies. I am majoring in Criminal Justice and plan to be a police officer in the future.


Shelby Benton - Resident Assistant
Hey! I’m Shelby Benton, a sophomore here at NCCC from Leon, Kansas. I’m a part of the Women’s Soccer team. Currently, I plan on majoring in psychology because I love people! I enjoy playing instruments, working out, and oatmeal! Come say hello; I’m excited to meet you all!



Trysten Meyer - Resident Assistant

I’m Trysten Meyer, and I’m attending NCCC to get my Associates of Science. After college I plan on becoming a police officer. Some of my interests are scuba diving, lifting, and hanging out with friends. 


Tyler Leach -  Resident Assistant

Hello, My name is Tyler Leach. I am from Pawnee, Oklahoma.  I am a member of the wrestling team here at Neosho County, along with being a part of the Theater Program and a member of the Adulting Club.  I also serve as the Secretary Treasurer for the History Club.
