Alisa Tasler is beginning her sixth year as head coach for the Neosho County Community College. Alisa was the assistant coach of two years at Pittsburg State, with her primary emphasis on the pitching department. In the time that Coach Tasler was with the Pittsburg State softball squad, they were raked second in the nation for team academic GPA, recorded the second best all-time winning record in school history, and also the second best conference record in school history. Alisa is taking over a very young squad, with all 14 individuals on the roster coming in as freshmen. " I am looking forward to building this program back into the strong competitor that Neosho County Community College has seen in the past," says coach Tasler.
Alisa is a recent graduate of Pittsburg State University, completing her Masters Degree in Physical Education in the summer of 2005. Alisa is originally from Newcastle, Oklahoma. She played both Softball and Basketball at Northern Oklahoma College. Alisa broke three school records with her pitching performances over her two year stint there. She was also part of a bi-conference champion Basketball squad at Northern Oklahoma College. Alisa continued her studies at Oklahoma State University, and finished up her graduate degree in Physical Education at Pittsburg State University.
